Description
Surfoplane Surf Mat. Inflated Rubber Mat designed Dr Ernest Smithers. Era started 1933 until Smithers died in 1976, about the same time manufacture of the surfoplane ended, but in 2001 three Newcastle businessmen bought the rights and Manufacturing commenced again. This SurfOPlane is from that 2001 range. You cannot get these any more. In fair condition with slow leak, heat damage (see photos), more as a display. This is a true investment piece and an incredible piece of history.
