Barry Bennett shaped by Bob McTavish, 1969/70. Extremely rare being shaped by McTavish, and an opportunity to grab a truly unique piece for your collection. This Side Slipper design by Reno Abella for Inter-Island surfboards was first noted at the Huntington Beach contest in 1969. In Australia, the design was taken up by Farrelly, Shane, Bennett and Terry Fitzgerald, and the list goes on. No twist or delamination. Has the usual heel marks on the deck and a few impressions on the bottom. Just needs some very light TLC in two small repairs. Over the years, it has had some touch ups on the rails. Has No.7108 along the stringer. 6ft6″ x 201/2” x 27/8“
