Retro surfboard, Mark Richards Twin Fin, designed by Mark Richards. Has been cleaned up years ago showing off all battle scars around her, which has not added any extra weight to her. In great condition for it’s age with the usual heel marks on the deck with a few slight ouion rings. Bottom has some bump impressions, old school repairs, for example repairs to the tip of the nose and swallows, rail shatters, fin area, a few small stress marks (see all photos). No ding repairs needed, no twist or delam. A true collectors piece and would look amazing hanging up in your man cave or ride her in your next retro comp. Only one owner. Comes with a second hand board bag.

“I ordered this early 1979 after going to Mark’s shop and discussing what I wanted with him for over an hour. I wanted a Bertleman stripe after seeing it in a magazine. When I picked up the board, Mark said he had slimmed the stripe down and changed it slightly so as not to be accused of totally copying the Bertleman stripe. From the conversation, I believed at the time, and still do, that Mark shaped this board. I have read that he often left his initials off customs for customers but wouldn’t know if this is true or not. There are no shapers initials on this board so could be true.”
