Gordon Woods Hollow Malibu remake

Gordon Woods, remake of the hollow malibus that were surfed from late 1956 until early 1958 when balsa took over. This particular board, built in 2004, is all hand shaped by Gordon Woods himself, and is the second last board he ever shaped. The Gordon Woods decal is an original mid 1960's decal, and the board is personally signed by Gordon Woods. It has Cedar and Spruce rails, nose and tail block. Inspiration for Gordon to make this board came from a Velzey balsa that Gordon had purchased from Bob Burnside. It also comes with a framed explanation with photos of the original board and signed by Gordon. Once in a life time an opportunity like this comes along to grab an incredible and beautiful piece of surfing history.
